New York broke a 3-3 tie in the seventh off an RBI single by pinch-hitter Eric Wagaman and a two-run triple by Marcus Semien to win and improve to 34-41, while the Phillies fell to 40-35 overall and 21-19 at home. Alec Bohm singled, doubled and drove in two runs in a losing effort for the Phils.

The Phillies are on the board as betting favorites (-194) with left-hander Cristopher Sanchez (8-3, 1.82 ERA) set to make his 16th start of the season. The 29-year-old ranks among the top four in Major League Baseball in wins (8, T-4th), ERA (1.82, 3rd) and strikeouts (116, 2nd) on the heels of his breakout 2025 campaign. Opposing him will be Mets righty Freddy Peralta, who is 5-5 with a 3.90 ERA and comes off a win over the Atlanta Braves in his last start.
