SAN ANTONIO – A somber night on the South Side.
A candlelight vigil was held for missing 7-month-old Ozana Cisneros after authorities recovered skeletal remains while searching for her at Concepcion Park.
Family members, friends and supporters gathered at the park Tuesday night to pray for Ozana’s safe return.

The infant was last seen June 10 at a home on Roosevelt Avenue.
San Antonio police canceled the AMBER Alert on Monday but said Ozana remains missing and investigators continue searching for her.
Police found Ozana’s mother, Maximine Cisneros, at a home on Parkview Drive on Friday, but the baby was not with her.

During the search, authorities recovered skeletal remains at Concepcion Park. Investigators have not confirmed whether the remains belong to Ozana.
Rose Menchaca, a friend of Ozana’s grandmother, attended the vigil and recalled meeting the baby when she was just 3 days old.
“My heart just sunk into her,” Menchaca said. “I fell in love with her. She’s just a baby. I’m just praying that wherever she is that she’s not out in this heat.”
Police have not announced any arrests related to Ozana’s disappearance.
In a separate development, the mother’s boyfriend, Isaiah Lopez, was taken into custody Friday, according to a source with knowledge of the investigation.
Lopez attempted to flee from San Antonio Police officers before he was arrested. He was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
During the arrest, officers reportedly found a firearm, and Lopez was booked on the outstanding warrant as well as a gun-related charge.
