In Canadian Open Tennis, second seed Elena Rybakina will take on seventh seed Iga Swiatek in Women’s Singles title clash at Toronto tomorrow.
Kazakhstan’s Rybakina defeated fourth seeded American Coco Gauff by 5-7,6-2,6-2 while Polish player Swiatek overpowered Elina Svitolina of Ukraine by 6-3,1-6, 6-3 in the semi-finals today.
In Men’s Singles, defending champion Ben Shelton will face Brandon Nakashima in an All American final at Montreal tomorrow. Fifth seed Shelton secured a 6-2, 6-3 victory over fellow American and 12th seed Learner Tien while 28th seed Nakashima beat Spanish teenager and 20th seed Rafael Jodar 7-6(3) 6-4 to reach his first Masters 1000 final.
