Kickoff for FC Cincinnati’s home game against D.C. United at TQL Stadium has been delayed by lightning.
The kickoff was expected to be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5. The club announced a lightning delay at 7:15 p.m., meaning it’s a minimum of 30 minutes before warmups can resume on the field.

Lightning was visible above the roof of TQL Stadium at 7:20 p.m., and radar showed a small storm system approaching downtown Cincinnati.
