Indiana Fever star guard Sophie Cunningham roasted Phoenix Mercury star forward DeWanna Bonner ahead of Thursday’s road game in Arizona.
Appearing on a Dirty Mo Media podcast this week and discussing the infamous pointing meme where Cunningham trolled Bonner, her former Fever teammate, during a brouhaha, Cunningham referred to Bonner simply as “Miss Priss.” Ouch. That’s rude!
Did DeWanna Bonner really leave the Fever in 2025 over Caitlin Clark?
That’s a pretty brutal insult from Cunningham to Bonner; if the latter catches wind of this, we imagine they might have some words on the court about it during Thursday night’s game.
Cunningham is going to have to back it up on the court; the pointing meme is still going everywhere, and calling Bonner “Miss Priss” is just not going to help the animosity between these two teams.
Well, we’ll see how it all goes… and if Cunningham says anything else after Thursday’s game. Cunningham has already made a pretty wild accusation about the Mercury’s team culture recently. What else could be said?
