One of the most important days in Hinduism is Purnima. Vasant Purnima, which comes on the same day as the Holi festival, is considered the most auspicious. On this auspicious day, devotees of Lord Vishnu observe Satyanarayan Vrat and offer prayers to the Lord. This day is considered to be very virtuous in terms of praying, fasting, going to temples, taking a holy dip in the Ganga, and doing hawan. Vasant Purnima 2026: Puja Rituals

1. People take a sacred bath after rising early in the morning.2. Clean the house and the puja room specifically.3. Set up an idol of Lord Vishnu and Shree Yantra.4. Light a desi ghee diya and offer a garland of yellow flowers.5. Add haldi or yellow chandan tilak and one must spread some akshat then keep a water filled kalash on that.5. Offer homemade sweets, fruits, meetha paan, tulsi patra, panjeeri, and panchamrit.6. Chant the Lord Vishnu mantras and recite the Purnima Katha.7. Before completing the puja rituals, recite the aarti of “Om Jai Laxmi Ramana” and “Om Jai Jagdish Hare”.8. Before breaking the fast in the evening, one must offer water to Moon God and bhog prasad to Lord Vishnu.
