The Houston Texans are opening their season against the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo had a productive opening drive, getting all the way down to the Texans’ 34-yard line. However, on 4th-and-1, Pro Bowl cornerback Kamari Lassiter made a huge tackle for a loss of two yards to end the drive from the Bills and leave them scoreless.

Unfortunately for the Texans, they were not able to capitalize on the stop.

On their opening drive of the season, quarterback C.J. Stroud was strip-sacked, and it was recovered by the Bills at the 32-yard line. Houston’s defense was able to hold Buffalo’s offense to negative four yards on that drive, which set up a field goal, allowing the Bills to take a 3-0 lead early in the first quarter.
The Texans will begin the second half on offense.
