Doha, February 24 (QNA) – The organizing committee of the Qatar Football Festival 2026 announced Tuesday that the tickets for this festival will be rolled out on Wednesday.

The committee added, in a statement, that fans and spectators from worldwide are ready to engage in an extraordinary soccer experience filled with stars, to be held in Qatar from Mar. 26-31, 2026, with the participation of squads from Spain, Argentina, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Serbia, in six high-profile global matches.

The 2026 Finalissima match headlines the festival agenda, bringing together Spain, the European champion, and Argentina, the South American champion, at Lusail Stadium on March 27.

This prestigious international encounter marks the first meeting hosted in Qatar between the Spanish and Argentine national teams, reinforcing the country’s standing as an exceptional global sports hub, in line with the continuing legacy Qatar has established in organizing major international sporting events.

The highly anticipated match will see the return of Argentina, world champion and Copa America 2024 titleholder, to the iconic Lusail Stadium, where it lifted the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, to face Spain, the UEFA Euro 2024 champion.

Fans at Finalissima are anticipated to have the chance to watch this incredible showdown, as a generational football clash is set with Argentina legend Lionel Messi meeting rising Spanish star Lamine Yamal in a historic encounter.

In the rest of the Qatar Football Festival matchups, Egypt face Saudi Arabia on March 26 at Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, while on the same day Qatar take on Serbia at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium.

On Mar. 30, Lusail Stadium hosts a match between Egypt and Spain, while Saudi Arabia meets Serbia at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium. The festival winds up on Mar. 31, when Qatar face Argentina at Lusail Stadium.
