A popular Cincinnati restaurant has permanently closed its doors after three years of service.Baru opened in 2023 at Fifth and Race. Its final night of service was last Saturday.In a message posted to social media, the restaurant’s owners said, “From the beginning, our goal was to open with energy and bring an elevated sushi culture to downtown Cincinnati, and we are proud to have done just that.”The company says it is now shifting its focus to its other downtown concept, Vintage on Race, an upscale sports bar.
