Kell Brook, 40, has confirmed he is making a comeback and will fight this year. The former IBF welterweight champion, 40-3 (28 KOs), has been out of action since beating arch-rival Amir Khan in February 2022.
Brook had been expected to return to take on Eisa Al Dah in Dubai, in an exhibition of sorts designed to pay tribute to Ricky Hatton. That fell through but, in the meantime, Brook got himself in shape and is eager to scratch the itch.
