What is ‘DWTS: The Next Pro’?
The competition series follows 12 up-and-coming dancers who move into a house together and compete in a series of auditions and dance challenges. Their goal is to earn a professional dancer spot on the next season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

Who are the judges?
The judging panel features ballroom royalty Mark Ballas, a three-time Mirrorball champion and longtime “Dancing With the Stars” pro, and Shirley Ballas, the renowned ballroom champion known as the “Queen of Latin.”
The pair will also be joined throughout the season by returning “Dancing With the Stars” professionals serving as rotating mentors and guest judges.
For the premiere episode, Derek Hough joins the judges as contestants are tested on their jive and samba technique.

Who is Robert Irwin?
Robert Irwin is best known as a wildlife conservationist, television personality, and son of the late conservation icon Steve Irwin.
He currently works with his family at Australia Zoo and serves as an advocate for wildlife conservation through the nonprofit organization Wildlife Warriors. He gained a new fan base after winning Season 34 of “Dancing With the Stars,” which led to his role hosting the spinoff series.
