The Chiefs are back at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.

Fans heading to the preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams should be ready for an early start and plenty of heat.

What time is the Chiefs game on Saturday?

Kickoff is set for 3:05 p.m., but the day at Arrowhead begins much earlier.

Parking lots open at 10:30 a.m., the Ford Tailgate District opens at 11 a.m. and stadium gates open at 1 p.m.

Team warmups begin around 2 p.m.

Preparing for over 90-degree heat in Kansas City

The biggest thing to keep in mind may be the weather.

Temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-90s. Fans are allowed to bring one unopened water bottle, as long as it’s 20 ounces or smaller.

Arrowhead also has water fountains throughout the stadium and will have cooling stations available.

Important information for parking at the Chiefs-Rams game

Before leaving home, make sure your tickets and parking pass are already on your phone.

Both are mobile only, and saving them to your mobile wallet ahead of time can save some trouble at the stadium. Fans should also give themselves extra time for traffic around Arrowhead.
