If you’re trying to use Claude AI on Tuesday, you could be having some issues.
The AI program has more than 1,400 reported problems Tuesday on Downdetector just after 10 a.m. EST. The outage is also trending on Google. Some are getting error messages including “Claude unable to authenticate.”
The biggest problem is with Claude Chat, and some are reporting problems with the app and Claude Code.
There is no timetable for the outage to end, but these are often corrected quickely.
