Meanwhile, opening batter Saif Hassan has been recognised for his good performances in T20Is as he has been appointed as deputy to Litton Das. The all-rounders has impressed in his 18 T20I outings for the Tigers, proving valuable with four half-century plus contributions fown the order.
Das was named captain of the Tigers’ T20I side in May this year, and will lead them going into the Men’s T20 World Cup in 2026.
Before that, Bangladesh will take on Ireland in a three-match T20I series starting November 27 upon conclusion of their ongoing Test series.
