Of course, Las Vegas has already clinched a playoff spot and the team will now try to work their way up the standings before the end of the regular season as they sit just one game behind the Golden State Valkyries for the No. 2 seed.
While the Aces are looking to pick up a victory in Sunday’s game against the Tempo as they continue to hunt down the Valkyries for the No. 2 seed in the league, they did receive concerning injury news regarding one of their top players.

Ahead of Sunday’s game against the Tempo, the Aces announced that superstar center A’ja Wilson has been downgraded to questionable due to a back injury.
This is massive news for the Aces as they may be without their star center for Sunday’s game if she is unable to suit up, which would be her first missed contest since Aug. 9 and just her fourth missed game of the season.
Of course, Wilson has put together another impressive season that has her in the running for her fourth MVP award and she has once again been a major contributor to the Aces’ success.

This season, the 30-year-old center is averaging 25.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 51.8% from the field and 40.5% from three.
If Wilson is sidelined against the Tempo in Sunday’s matchup, Las Vegas will likely rely on Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray to carry the load for them offensively.

Cheyenne Parker-Tyus and Brianna Turner could both be in line for increased roles as well if the Aces are without their star center.
