Suzlon Energy Q1 Results Preview: Revenue, PAT may rise over 20%; here’s what to expect

Suzlon Energy Q1 FY27 Preview: Suzlon Energy is likely to report a strong June-quarter performance, led by healthy project execution. Revenue and net profit are expected to grow more than 20 per cent year-on-year. However, margins may remain under pressure due to a higher share of EPC work.

Suzlon Energy Q1 FY27 Results Date

The company’s Board of Directors will meet on Tuesday, July 28, to consider and approve the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended June 2026 (Q1FY27).

Revenue, PAT seen rising

According to Zee Business estimates, Suzlon Energy’s consolidated revenue is expected to rise 24.2 per cent year-on-year to Rs 3,890 crore. It had reported revenue of Rs 3,132 crore in the year-ago quarter.

EBITDA is estimated to increase 15.5 per cent to Rs 692 crore, from Rs 599 crore a year ago.

Net profit is likely to grow 22.8 per cent to Rs 398 crore, compared with Rs 324 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

EBITDA margin is expected to fall to 17.8 per cent from 19.1 per cent.

What may support earnings?

The company is expected to report healthy growth on the back of strong execution.

Suzlon is estimated to have executed around 530 MW to 550 MW during the quarter. This is likely to support revenue growth.

Execution may have remained strong as EPC activity picked up before the monsoon season.

However, the higher EPC mix may weigh on margins. Analysts expect margin to remain around 18 per cent.

Q4FY26 Highlights

Suzlon Energy reported mixed results in the March quarter.

Consolidated net profit fell 5.6 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,114 crore, from Rs 1,181 crore. The decline was mainly due to a lower deferred tax benefit.

The deferred tax benefit stood at Rs 284.32 crore, compared with Rs 600.75 crore in the year-ago quarter.

Revenue from operations, however, rose sharply to Rs 5,468 crore from Rs 3,774 crore.

For FY26, consolidated net profit increased to Rs 3,163 crore, from Rs 2,072 crore in FY25.

Revenue from operations rose to Rs 16,679 crore, compared with Rs 10,851 crore in the previous financial year.

Order book remains strong

Suzlon ended FY26 with an order book of 5.9 GW. About 66 per cent of the orders came from the public sector and the commercial and industrial (C&I) segment.

The strong order book provides revenue visibility for the coming quarters. The June-quarter results will indicate whether the company remains on track to achieve its 3 GW execution target for FY27 while maintaining profitability.
