Restricted free agent Moussa Cisse has agreed to a two-year contract offer sheet with the New York Knicks, a person familiar with the move confirmed to The Dallas Morning News.
Cisse is coming off a productive rookie season with the Dallas Mavericks, despite playing just 38 games because of his two-way status. He averaged 4.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game, providing energy off the bench with his athleticism and defensive intensity.
Cisse dealt with a nagging shoulder injury throughout the latter end of last season, but still managed to record a massive double-double of 17 points and 20 rebounds in the season-ending win over the Chicago Bulls.
The Mavericks have 48 hours to match the offer sheet.
