Stephen Fleming retains Chennai Super Kings’ backing despite clamour for removal after two poor IPL seasons for CSK

The team has not exactly fared well over the last two years, finishing 10th in 2025 and eighth in the just-concluded season. Yet, the CSK management is set to continue with Fleming, who has been associated with the franchise since the beginning of the IPL. Fleming’s contract is renewed annually, and Cricbuzz understands that it will be extended once again this year, as has been the case in the past.
