Asim Munir is likely to visit Tehran on Thursday as diplomatic efforts continue between Iran and the United States over a possible peace deal, according to Iran’s ISNA news agency.
The visit comes days after Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsen Naqvi held talks with Iranian officials, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, on regional developments and indirect US-Iran negotiations.
Iran says Pakistan continues to mediate message exchanges between Tehran and Washington based on Tehran’s proposed 14-point framework. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has warned Iran to provide “100% good answers” or face possible military action.
