The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the Class 12 Result 2026 soon on its official portals.
Over 16 lakh students who appeared for the board examinations are eagerly waiting for the announcement. Once declared, candidates will be able to access their scorecards using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID through the official result websites,i.e., cbse.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, cbse,gov.in.
Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready to avoid last-minute delays. Apart from the official website, results will also be accessible via DigiLocker, SMS services, and the UMANG mobile application.
Once declared, candidates will be able to access their scorecards through the official websites—cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbse.nic.in, by following these steps:
- Visit any official CBSE result website
- Click on the Class 12 result link
- Enter your roll number, school number, and admit card ID
- Submit the details
- View and download your result for future reference
This multi-platform availability ensures smooth and quick access, even during high traffic on result day.
The online marksheet will be provisional in nature. Students must collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools later. The board will also release key statistics, including overall pass percentage, region-wise performance, and the list of top-performing students, along with merit highlights.
In case of discrepancies in the result, students can apply for verification or re-evaluation as per CBSE guidelines. Additionally, those who are unable to clear one or more subjects will have the opportunity to appear in compartment examinations, the schedule for which will be announced soon after the result declaration.
