The change in weather is expected to bring relief from temperatures that have stayed far above normal in recent days.

The forecast suggests cloudy skies across the Union Territory with rain in many areas and snowfall in higher reaches of Kashmir. Officials have also warned of possible disruptions on mountain roads due to fresh snow.
