Anshmeet Singh and Prabhdeep Kaur Jodi Eliminated Ahead of Grand Finale Episode, Check Top 3 Finalists

In today’s episode of MasterChef India 2026 season 9, guest chef Prateek Sadhu threw a tough challenge at the four contestants who battled in the kitchen to secure their spot as finalists. This whole week has been quite taxing for all of the contestants who made it till here. After yesterday’s no elimination round, things take a wild turn in today’s episode. The chef gave them a ‘Presidential Menu’ challenge where they didn’t get any recipe but had to replicate his dishes in looks, taste and texture.

After going through quite a pressure in the kitchen, one of the home cook pairs had to go home and that one jodi was Anshmeet Singh and Prabhdeep Kaur (brother-sister duo from Punjab). Scroll down to read who got selected as top 3 finalists of MasterChef India Season 9.

‘MasterChef India’ 2026 Season 9: Who Got Eliminated?

On March 5, 2026, the four contestant pairs went through the toughest challenge till now, where they had to make dishes set by chef Prateek Sadhu in his ‘Presidential Menu’ challenge. While some jodis passed with flying colours, some jodis fell behind. Ajinkya and Vikram Gandhe (brother duo from Nagpur) got the highest numbers as they not only replicated the look and feel of the dish they were given, they also made it taste exactly like the guest chefs’ dish. However, on the other hand, Anshmeet and Prabhdeep couldn’t present an up-to-the-mark dish in front of the judges. This left the judges with a bitter feeling and finally after tasting all the dishes, they decided to eliminate the brother-sister duo from Punjab.

Apart from Anshmeet and Prabhdeep, Anju and Manju were also in bottom two. However, in today’s episode, chef Prateek Sadhu also gave an opportunity of interning at his restaurant to Anju and Manju (sister duo from Odisha). It was a very heartwarming moment for them.

Now, all is left for the grand finale challenge episode that is going to take place tomorrow on March 6, 2026. Here’s the top 3 finalists who will be competing against each other tomorrow:

1. Ajinkya and Vikram Gandhe (Brothers from Nagpur)
2. Anju Pradhan and Manju Ojha (Sisters from Odisha)
3. SaiSri and Chandana Rachakonda (Mother-Daughter duo from Hyderabad)

The grand finale challenge episode will be graced by chef Sanjeev Kapoor, alongside the three judges, chef Kunal Kapur, chef Ranveer Brar and chef Vikas Khanna. Who will lift the golden trophy of MasterChef India season 9, only time can tell. Keep an eye on this space to get all the latest updates.
