Season 2 of the league will feature 120 matches played over 13 days, an increase from 90 matches in the inaugural edition. The upcoming season will see participation from 56 players representing 18 countries.
The World Pickleball League is affiliated with the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP) and the United World Pickleball Federation (UWPF).
The league will have seven teams in Season 2, owned by actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, filmmaker Atlee, cricketer Rishabh Pant, former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar, actors Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, and actor couple Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh.
As part of the agreement, Sony LIV will stream all matches live and provide on-demand access to games, key moments and additional content across devices. The World Pickleball League is affiliated with the All India Pickleball Association (AIPA), the Asia Federation of Pickleball (AFP) and the United World Pickleball Federation (UWPF).
