Miami (11-2, 0-0, ACC, No. 37 NET, No. 36 Kenpom) enters its first conference game on a season-long six-game winning streak following a 105-67 victory over North Florida on Dec. 21. … Pittsburgh (7-6, 0-0 ACC, No. 120 NET, No. 91 Kenpom) has won consecutive games with an 80-46 win over Penn State in their last game on Dec. 21 after losing the previous three. … Miami ranks 56th nationally out of 365 teams in offensive efficiency (117.6) and 27th in defensive efficiency (98.7) while Pittsburgh ranks 82nd in offensive efficiency (114.4) and 104th in defensive efficiency (105.2).

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

Pittsburgh: PF Cameron Corhen leads the Panthers in scoring (13.3) and rebounding (8.6), but is averaging 10.0 points over his last four on 45.7-percent shooting including seven points in a loss to Hofstra on Dec. 7. He has posted four double-doubles this season including an 18-10 performance in a win over Ohio State on Nov. 28.

Miami: PF Malik Reneau has led the Hurricanes throughout the non-conference, averaging 20.4 points per game on 59.2-percent shooting from the floor. Reneau has embraced his role as the team’s top scoring option in his first season in Coral Gables after three years at Indiana and will now look to lead the Hurricanes in ACC play.
