Ahead of the much-awaited T20 World Cup and Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, India’s very own domestic league, the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, is entertaining the fans. While it’s a dose of entertainment for the fans, it’s also a proper audition for some players who are featuring in the tournament. Their performance will decide their future in the upcoming IPL auction. There could be chances for a few players getting a chance to get selected in the T20 World Cup as well. After the completion of the first two rounds of the tournament, the third round is set to be played on November 30.
Meanwhile, one of the matches from the third round, which will grab a lot of attention, is the clash between Delhi and Saurashtra. Delhi started their SMAT campaign with a loss while winning their second match of the tournament, chasing a huge target of 199 runs. Yash Dhull was named Player of the Match for his match-defining 71-run knock.
On the other hand, Saurashtra also had almost a similar start to their campaign. They won their first match against Tripura but lost the second one against Uttarakhand by six wickets.
The Delhi vs Saurashtra match is part of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and is scheduled for November 30, 2025. The Delhi cricket team vs Saurashtra cricket team contest will begin at 04:30 PM IST and will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium Ground ‘A’, Ahmedabad, one of the biggest cricket stadiums in India.
