Orkla India Share Price Live: Analyst view on valuation
“From a valuation perspective, at the upper price band of Rs 730, the issue commands a market capitalisation of around Rs 10,000 crore. Based on FY26 annualised earnings and the fully diluted post-IPO paid-up capital, the company’s asking price implies a P/E ratio of 31.7x. This appears reasonable considering its market leadership, strong brand portfolio, and solid regional dominance in the spices and convenience foods segment. However, investors should be mindful that the IPO is entirely an Offer for Sale (OFS) worth Rs 1,667 crore, which could be a key concern for new investors,” said Rajan Shinde, Research Analyst at Mehta Equities.
